Who We Are

Our Story

God opened the door to start EBC Tulsa in 2012, and through His grace and leading, we began to assemble as a small church of believers that has a heart to worship Christ, to learn and study His Word, and to be a church of service. We believe the church belongs to Jesus, and Jesus builds the church. Our heart is to be a church where we experience God’s love, where there is hope, and where we are faithful followers of Christ.

The Five Purposes for our Church

1. Worship

We were created to bring glory to God. Through heartfelt worship, prayer, and obedience, we honor Him in spirit and truth and place Him at the center of everything we do.

2. Fellowship

God created us to live in loving relationships. We are a spiritual family where believers care for one another, pray for one another, and walk together in unity. As we experience God’s love, we seek to share that same love with others, living in fellowship with one another in Christ, just as He has loved us.

(1 John 4:7-12)

3. Discipleship

God calls every believer to grow in faith and maturity. Through the teaching of God’s Word, the equipping of leaders, and the work of the Holy Spirit, we help one another grow in grace, be built up in love, and be transformed into the likeness of Christ.

4. Ministry

Every follower of Christ is shaped to serve. We encourage each member to discover and use the gifts God has given them to care for others, meet real needs, and show the compassionate love of Jesus in practical ways.

James 2:1-17

5. Mission

We are called to join God in His mission to reach the lost. With faith and compassion, we share the Gospel of Jesus Christ, make disciples, and show God’s love in both word and action, so that people everywhere may come to know Him.
